Camp Philosophy
The Hare Soccer Camps was founded to provide young players the opportunity to learn and prepare for a higher level of goalkeeping and competitive soccer. The Academy Session curriculum is designed for players who are ready to make the transition from recreational to competitive soccer, and the Elite/College Prep sessions are for the elite club, ODP, high school player and incoming college freshman, who wants to play collegiate soccer. The philosophy of Hare Soccer Camps is simple yet demanding. Our staff is challenged to develop the technical and tactical skills of their students through dynamic, fun, and demanding training sessions. Players are grouped according to gender, age and ability to further create a challenging and positive training environment. We feel the Hare Soccer Camps experience should be one where coach and player can share the rewards of improvement through a well-disciplined, educational work ethic.

Soccer Speed & Agility Camp (9am-12noon)
Soccer Speed & Agility Camp is designed to help field players and goalkeepers, ages 8-19, to improve their overall speed, quickness and agility. The camp is open to both boys and girls. Throughout the five intense training sessions, athletes will work on improving in the following areas: Off the Mark Speed, Agility / Change of Direction, Lateral Quickness, Flexibility, Balance and Coordination, Speed with Ball, Rapid Acceleration, First Step Quickness, Vertical Leap and Speed of Thought. In addition to the training completed during the camp, athletes will be taught training exercises and drills that they can complete at home to continue their improvement in these areas.

Goalkeeper & Striker Camp (Residential / Extended Day Commuters)
The Goalkeeper &
Striker Camp is designed for boys & girls, ages 8-19, to receive high quality technical and tactical lessons for both goalkeepers and strikers. This camp will help to become better attacking players. No matter what position you play, the Goalkeeper & Striker Camp provides a challenging environment to help every player improve technically, develop a better tactical sense, and also helps empower your attacking attitude. The goalkeeper is also given specialized attention at the camp. Goalkeepers will receive plenty of repetitions during both technical and tactical training sessions during the camp. Each day the goalkeepers and the strikers will work specifically on their techniques and tactics, and then they will join together for attacking exercises, which will benefit them on both sides of the ball. At the end of the day, everyone will get together for games to test and improve on what they?ve covered during the day. Goalkeeper and the striker are highly specialized positions and require individual and specialized coaching in addition to team coaching.

Elite / College Prep Goalkeeper Pre-Season Training Camp
(9am-12noon: College Only) (1-4pm: Elite / ODP / HS Only)
The Hare Goalkeeper Academy offers a truly unique opportunity for serious and dedicated goalkeepers, ages 14-College to get themselves prepared for their Elite Club, ODP, high school or collegiate seasons. This camp is designed to fine-tune and prepare the motivated GK to enter his/her elite club / ODP / high school or college pre-season camp with confidence and a competitive edge. The training would stress how to compete to WIN the starting job, or how to KEEP the starting job by preparing the goalkeepers in all levels of the position. This camp creates an environment to challenge the goalkeeper to advance to a higher level of performance. This camp is an excellent preparation for the freshman entering into collegiate level. The training is intense and competitive. The camp includes technical training, footwork training, pressure training, psychological preparation and competitive games. A 40-yard dash times will be recorded and vertical jump measurements will be taken. The format of this camp format involves five morning sessions reserved for college goalkeepers and five afternoon sessions reserved for high school goalkeepers. Sessions are 3 hours in length. The number of campers is limited to insure maximum results for each keeper. There will be separate sessions for elite club / ODP/ high school group and collegiate goalkeepers. With special permission from Coach Hare, a high school senior goalkeeper would be able to participate in the college session.
