Aged 16-24? Have a flair for footie? Get yourself down to Salford Stadium on 10th July at 10am - free football academy trials including coaching from ex-Premiership footballers and qualifications.

Join us on the 10th July to showcase your talents to join our football academy.
On the day we have former Manchester City captain, Terry Phelan to guide you along with a team of professional football coaches from the Midlands area.

We will start with a 30-minute presentation outlining the course and what you will gain from it. Afterwards you will get an hour on the pitch to show us if you have what it takes to make it into our academy squad.

If you are accepted on the course you will also get the opportunity to gain some important and career enhancing qualifications. The 6 qualifications included in the Community Academy Course are: Certificate in Activity Leadership Level 2, BTEC Level 2 Work skills, BTEC Level 2 Customer Services, Functional Skills and Level 1 or 2 FA Coaching. There will also be a 2-week Residential placement in a beautiful country retreat where the foundations for the course are laid and your football skills will be improved.

The course lasts for 6 months and prepares attendees for employment in the Sport, Fitness and Leisure Industry. Academy pupils will spend 3 hours per day being trained by professional coaches and the remaining time in the classrooms working on these courses.
